When Jewelry Becomes a Love Letter: Meet Two Inspiring Moms

Hello, it’s Jessica here! (If we haven’t met yet, let me introduce myself—I’m the founder and designer of Love by the Moon.) I wanted to write this blog myself because I’m bursting with happiness and inspiration from our recent Mother’s Day campaign. It’s one of my favorites so far—filled with so much love and heartfelt moments.

Why Dana and Yenser?

I chose to interview Dana and Yenser because they radiate positive energy and inspire me , and I knew you’d love their stories too.

Dana: The Go-Getter Mom

Dana is originally from Ukraine and now lives in Hong Kong. You might recognize her gorgeous face from our 2021 Lonely Planet campaign—she was the model in those dreamy photos! But now, she’s an entrepreneur running her own marketing agency—and a working mom.

I was so surprised (and impressed!) to know she’s already a mom—she is so young! What inspires me most is how she transitioned from modeling to becoming her own boss. And guess what? She’s even mastered Cantonese! She told me she’s been learning diligently—proof that she’s a true go-getter. That fearless, curious spirit is what makes her an incredible mom who balances work and family so effortlessly.

Yenser: The Multitasking Supermom

Yenser has been my friend for years. She lives in Singapore, but her roots span Hong Kong and Malaysia—growing up between these three places shaped her into the adaptable, resilient person she is today.

At first glance, you’d think she lives a carefree, princess-like life—always smiling, never stressed. But the truth? She’s a supermom with multiple roles: a full-time marketing expert for a fashion company, a content creator, freelance photographer, founder of a family-wear brand, and most importantly, a hands-on mom (with no housekeeper!). I was shocked—and completely in awe—of how she manages to excel at everything with such grace.

A Sunny, Love-Filled Day with Dana

The day I interviewed Dana was blessed with sunshine in Hong Kong—and the energy was just as bright! Dana and her daughter, Emily, were both so happy and excited for the interview, which made the whole vibe feel so warm and loving.

Dana shared so many sweet details about Emily—like how her favorite foods are Chinese dumplings and raisins (such a fun combo!), and how she already reads books in four languages: English, Ukrainian, Chinese, and Russian! Just like her mom, Emily is open-minded and eager to learn new things. Dana loves exploring the world alongside her, making their bond even more special.

I also asked Dana how she balances work and motherhood. Her secret? Relentless time management. She prioritizes what matters most—family and health—though she admits sometimes there still aren’t enough hours in the day. But one thing’s certain: Emily always comes first. Dana pours all her love into creating a nurturing environment for her, and it shows in every little way.

A Stormy but Magical Day with Yenser

The day I interviewed Yenser was the opposite weather-wise—rainy and thundering in Singapore! I was nervous the storm might affect the vibe, but somehow, everything went perfectly. We wrapped the interview in just 40 minutes, and it felt effortless.

Yenser brought her son, Jevon, straight from school to the studio, and his energy was infectious! It was my first time meeting him, and within seconds, this outgoing little boy was running around, trying to make friends with me. ( It worked—I adored him instantly!)

With Yenser juggling so many roles—and prepping for a TikTok live for her brand, LeBear—I had to ask: How do you balance it all?! She laughed and said, "I don’t know… I feel like an octopus! I just flex and adapt." But her real secret? A solid support system. Jevon’s cheerful nature, her husband’s help, and her mom stepping in when she’s tired make the chaos feel manageable.

A Token of Love: Their Customized Bracelets

What touched me most? Both Dana and Yenser chose to engrave their children’s initials on their Love by the Moon solid gold bracelets—a tiny yet profound way to keep them close, always.

Dana’s Bracelet: "E" for Emily

Dana picked the letter "E" paired with a delicate amethyst charm. The reason? "E" stands for her radiant daughter, Emily, and amethyst is her birthstone. But there’s more—Dana’s eyes lit up as she told me,

"It’s so meaningful that amethyst is purple… Emily’s favorite color! It’s beautiful to cherish these little details and always have ‘HER’ with me."

Every time she glances at her wrist, she’s reminded of those small, sparkling moments—like Emily devouring dumplings or flipping through books in four languages.

That’s the magic of jewelry: it carries stories.

Yenser’s Bracelet: "J" for Jevon

Yenser, ever the sentimental soul, chose the letter "J" for her lively son, Jevon. But she took it a step further—adding a diamond charm to symbolize forever love.

"Motherhood isn’t just about now; it’s about the bond that lasts lifetimes,"

she said with a grin, while Jevon giggled in the background, trying to peek at the bracelet.

For Yenser, the diamond isn’t just about luxury—it’s a promise. A reminder that even on her busiest days , her love for Jevon is unshakable, just like that glittering stone.
